Volunteer at EFT

EFT is always keen to have volunteers who can bring new skills and ideas to our organisation. We are grateful for as little or as much time as you have available and in return will offer you ongoing support and training.
If you’ve never volunteered before but are considering giving it a go then there are many ways in which it can benefit you. You can give back to the community, meet new friends, help improve your town and the life chances of those in it.
“I am proud to be part of the groups and it’s a two-way ticket. I get out as much as I put in. The group makes the week special and it’s something to look forward to for the volunteers”

Outdoor Learning Volunteer
EFT seeks to recruit volunteers who are passionate, have a willingness to learn, and have a welcoming, compassionate, non-judgemental and helpful approach.
See below for opportunities to help volunteering in our food provision project, sports, outdoor learning, and in our community café, The Drift at Hastings Contemporary.

Over the last few months, several of our volunteers have worked hard donating their time and showing their skills to achieve their Bronze and Silver EFT Volunteer Awards.
Whilst undertaking any of our volunteer roles you can also take on our Volunteer Awards, with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum to achieve. These are designed to be fun and help you learn your role, building confidence and experiences.
