Getting Here

We are based at: The Firs, Elphinstone Road, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 2AX
Getting to us using public transport
Bus routes: 323, 324

Nearest train station: Ore
Here at Education Futures Trust, (some people call us EFT) we are tucked away and sometimes hard to find so…

If you are coming up Elphinstone Road, drive/walk past Hastings United for 150 metres and you will find us on the right. We are 10 metres up the hill on the main road from the Hastings United Social Club sign (also on the right). Under the trees there are railings, with a hidden gate with a large Education Futures Trust sign attached. You will find our building through the gate: please ring the silver doorbell. Ring reception on 01424 722241, if needed.

Car drivers, please use the visitors’ carpark which is located on the south side of the site, between us and Hastings United Football Club. If there are no spaces available, you can park on the road – the white line means do not park on the verge or you will receive a parking ticket. Please also leave your car in gear if you do park on the road.

Sustainable Travel

At Education Futures Trust (EFT) we are committed to reducing our environmental impact. Our priority is to encourage staff and service users to do the same, as how people travel to work is one of a number of aspects that can contribute towards improving our environmental performance.

Walking

“Walking to the Firs supports wellbeing, and is a planet-healthy choice. I get to see the change of the seasons, and organise my thoughts as I walk. Daylight or darkness, sunshine or frost, every day is different.”

Cycling

“There’s no better feeling than whizzing past stationary traffic with the wind in my hair. I ride to get around, to have fun, to keep fit, to see the world.”

Taking the Bus

“The use of public transport reduces our carbon footprint, but it also allows me the time to listen to a podcast and wind down at the end of the day.”

Car Sharing

“As well as saving on petrol, car sharing
allows us to talk about the day and share ideas.”

Accessibility

The Firs includes 2 parking bays for people with disabilities and 2 drop off bays close to the main building. In addition, there is a dedicated minibus drop-off/parking bay.
