Thank You Kiley's Karpets

We would like to say a huge thank you to the team over at Kiley's Karpets for donating the vinyl flooring, free of charge, for our new 18ft x 15ft skills shed.

Our CEO Zoe shares "their contribution is making a real difference and it’s helping us create a safer, more durable, and welcoming space for all who walk through our doors. We are so grateful for their kindness and ongoing support".

The skill shed is part of our on-going development here at The Firs. Thanks to UK Government funding and our partnership with Plumpton College, we are transforming an unused area of the old football stand into a Skills Retreat - a dedicated space for people to learn valuable vocational skills.

The new Skills Shed will offer hands-on training in carpentry, electrics, plastering, and bricklaying, helping participants develop practical skills to support their career growth. The area has also been beautifully landscaped with new paths, safe access, an outdoor tap, and even a polytunnel for growing projects.

We can’t wait to see these new spaces buzzing with activity over the coming months!
