We are so pleased to share that after nearly 18 months of work we have achieved our Investing In Volunteers Award.

Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management. The framework provided enabled us to assess the quality of our volunteer management and involvement, as well as prove and improve the effectiveness of our work with volunteers, ensuring they are valued and receiving an outstanding volunteer experience with us.

The process itself required us to review, reflect and update our processes and procedures and develop an action plan that will continue to guide us in the coming years.

We want to say a huge thank you to our team of volunteers who were interviewed as part of the assessment process. Our assessor shared what wonderful ambassadors you are for our charity and the work we do within the community.
