Proud to support the Baton of Hope Tour 2025

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay and EFT is proud to support this year’s Baton of Hope 2025

On Tuesday, 23rd September, the Baton makes its way through Hastings — raising awareness around suicide and honouring the lives of loved ones lost to suicide.

Our Deputy CEO Jodie, will be one of the 43 baton bearers who are carrying the baton through the town, starting at Hastings Castle at 8am and finishing at The Stade Open Space at 6pm, where there will be a finale event until 9pm.

Jodie will be receiving the baton at 11am on our neighbours' Hastings United football pitch. Please do come along and support the tour at any of the locations shown on the route.

Together we can raise awareness and start the conversation that could interrupt someone’s suicidal thoughts and even save their life.
