Green Roof

Isaac and Zach were busy over the summer break creating our first green roof here at The Firs, as part of our wider plans to diversify the site.

It will become a great habitat for birds, butterflies, bees, and other insects, providing food, shelter, and nesting sites as well as contributing to a more balanced urban ecosystem.

With thanks to the Francis & Eric Ford Charity Trust for their very generous donation that enabled us to build the first green roof, we are already planning the second! 💚
