Tales from the Tipi is a storytelling programme, linked to the outdoors, that aims to increase children’s access and engagement with reading materials and improve mental health and wellbeing. Singing, drumming, circle games and rhyme are used to encourage listening and attention, social skills and to develop a love of language.

Literacy in schools includes small group and 1:1 support for students who are identified as reluctant readers or writers and/or reading below the expected levels for their age. Staff training in phonics, reading assessment and reading comprehension are also available.
